✨WORKSHOP DROP✨ May classes are here! We’ve got a lineup of new themes & venues, in addition to all-time faves ♥️

We are kicking things off with Mini Masterpieces next Wednesday at Moderne Loft, where we’ll cover watercolor basics and create petite paintings for vintage-inspired gold frames & lil bookmarks.

Then, we’re really mixing things up for World Cocktail Day on May 13th at Genevieve’s! We will paint three cocktail cards and enjoy themed pairings, including aperol spritzes, gin lavender lemonades, and espresso martinis!🍸🎨 Cannot emphasize enough how stoked I am for this one!

May 17th at Monstera’s, we’re painting bookish illustrations & cutie lil bookmarks.

May 21st at The Littlest Library, we’re celebrating International Tea Day with themed illustrations and treats.

May 23rd at the OP Arboretum, the poppies & peonies will be in bloom and we’ll be painting themes pieces for the season. (Only a couple spots left)

Finally, we’re introducing a new venue on May 27th - Southmoreland on the Plaza! Join us for Wildflower Watercolor on the patio! (Only a couple spots left)

Funds raised at Stems benefit the Arts & Rec Foundation of Overland Park, which supports the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, and public art initiatives! The event takes place while the gardens are in full bloom and includes sips & samples from top local restaurants, live music, entertainers, art exhibits, and more ♥️

FBF to my first workshop at Monstera’s last summer! Teaching, while surrounded by books and plants with natural light pouring in, will never get old. So excited to finally be back in this space for our upcoming Palentine’s Paint & Sip on February 15th!!

In late August, the shop unfortunately had to close for restoration after a fire in the building caused severe smoke and water damage and with that, our workshops were put on pause. After months of work, they were finally able to reopen just in time for the holidays. And I have to say, they are lookin’ better than ever, friends! I am so proud of their resilience and their dedication to this little community.

I have classes planned every month here through the end of the year just for you! I cannot wait to kick things off together in just a few weeks! 💗

Stems is an evening of celebrating art, community, and the gardens in full bloom. In previous years, I have participated in the featured exhibit as a plein air artist, which I hope to do again as well. Truly grateful to be any part of such a special event!

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed or burnt out, this class is for you. It’s less about perfect technique and more about mental rest.

You’ll take home:
